Club History

The Local Merger

In 2014, the Capital Soccer Association (CSA) and Tallahassee United Futbol Club (TUFC) united to form a single club serving Tallahassee and the surrounding area, providing instructional youth soccer at all skill levels and ages, from 4-18 years old.

In 2016, the Top Of Florida Soccer Club (TOF) and Tallahassee Tottenham Hotspur FC (TTHFC) joined forces. TOF was the longest running youth soccer program in Tallahassee, serving our community for 34 years and counting.

The merger allows all of the youth non-profit organizations to more efficiently and effectively utilize a large volunteer workforce to provide exceptional training opportunities while creating an integrated platform for players to advance from recreational to competitive play if they so choose.

“This is a huge step for soccer in the area as three non-profit clubs – CSA, TOF & TTHFC have now come together to do what is best for the youth players in the area,” says Lindsay Taylor, General Manager.

The merged club will expand access to soccer in the surrounding area, including access for players with special needs. The clubs are excited to unite the Tallahassee soccer community by bringing more families and teams together. TTHFC provides access to approximately 1,500 youth soccer players, with plenty of room for more!

The English Premier League Partnership

We have partnered with an honored and distinguished English Premier League soccer team, the Tottenham Hotspur Football Club (“Tottenham Hotspur”). To learn more about their club, visit them at http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com.

Tallahassee Tottenham Hotspur Futbol Club is very pleased to be the first youth soccer club in the United States to partner with Tottenham Hotspur.

“We are looking forward to continuing our philosophy of developing players first by having access to coaching best practices and implementing the “Tottenham Hotspur Way,” said Joel Di-Castri, Technical Director for Tallahassee Tottenham Hotspur. Local coaches and players will have the opportunity to attend multiple coach and player development programs run by Tottenham Hotspur held in town. Providing these quality programs locally will allow Tallahassee Tottenham Hotspur the ability to recruit, train and retain the best coaches available in this community.
