Premier teams are for players in the 11U-19U age divisions who want a more competitive environment than Recreational and are working towards the Elite level.
The Wakulla Premier program offers Fall and Spring play focused on learning good sportsmanship, understanding the game, developing individual skills and discovering the value of teamwork.
Premier offers two seasons of play. The Fall season runs from August to November and the Spring season runs from February to May. The program consisting of two (2) practices per week, games and tournaments are local and generally don’t require an overnight stay.
Wakulla Premier teams will train locally with the option to travel to Tallahassee for additional training opportunities. Other training locations include Meadows Soccer Complex and Tom Brown Park.
Premier coaches are volunteers who are licensed and may have played or coached at high levels. In addition to team training, Premier players can participate in supplemental skills clinics hosted by the Elite coaching staff (e.g. goal-keeper training) periodically throughout the year.
